Hi I’m Channing!
I’m a Choctaw photographer living in San Antonio, TX with my husband, John, and our three cats and one dog. I love going out on coffee dates, seeing way too many movies (the weirder the better), buying too many trinkets and keychains, and walking around the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, camera in hand of course!
How I got started:
My fate was sealed the day I got my hands on a disposable camera at the age of six…
My mom gave me a disposable camera to take on my first grade field trip to a wildlife and nature preserve. Looking through the viewfinder for the first time felt like stepping into a secret world that only I could see…
Ever since then, I've been obsessed with finding the hidden details that no one else notices; the small looks between two people, the pattern on the under side of a leaf, the tiny bug hiding inside the flower. Sometimes what feels like the smallest detail can have the biggest impact. And that’s where I come in. Whether it’s engagement photos, an elopement, family photos, lifestyle events, or “just because it feels good to truly to be seen by someone” photos, I’ll be there to capture all of life’s moments.
I truly believe everyone deserves to have photographs that capture their true spirit.
